The NW Adventure Sports Festival, was born in 2010, after a giant
brainstorm by the owner and staff of the Olympic
Outdoor Center and Kayakproshop.com. With
the end of paddling symposiums and a growing number of outdoor
enthusiasts in Washington, they wanted to help create a community
event to bring industry representatives, athletes, and enthusiasts
together.
The Festival became the part of Paddle Washington, a campaign to
bring together anyone interested in kayaking, standup paddleboarding,
trail running, mountain biking and other outdoor activities.
The Festival includes:
★ a full and mini adventure triathlon
★ beginning and expert paddling races
★ vendors with the latest outdoor
equipment
★ opportunities to try out equipment
★ helpful advice from the experts
★ a family fun fair
★ food
★ music
