BIO:
JENNIFER HAHN
With 26 years of wilderness travel under hull--including her
solo kayak from Ketchikan, Alaska to Bellingham, Washington over two
springs and summers--Jennifer Hahn relies on wildharvesting to keep her
kayak light. SEATTLE TIMES/PACIFIC NORTHWEST MAGAZINE featured her in
"Wildharvest Feast: Where the Wild Things Are."
Jennifer's award-winning book "SPIRITED WATERS: SOLOING
SOUTH THROUGH THE INSIDE PASSAGE" won accolades for adventure
narrative writing. Jennifer founded Elakah! Kayak Expeditions in 1989
and has led natural history and kayak trips in Washington, Canada,
Alaska, Baja and the Galapagos. Jennifer and Mac Smith's NEW BOOK: THE
WILD TABLE celebrating sustainable Pacific Coast foraging and
cuisine will debut in August.
